Antique Kozuka Japan katana Edo period Modified cutlery Mappin Brothers

This is a kozuka that has been modified into a knife and fork.
Both handles are made of silver and are engraved with the words “brother” and “Mappin.”

This is thought to refer to the British company Mappin Brothers.
